New CX TCO Calculator: Designed by John Paullin and Andrew Pryfogle, the new CX Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculator helps Trusted Advisors and their customers evaluate the potential impact on total annual technology spend and CX operations costs when implementing AI-powered self-service automation and agent productivity software. It allows them to compare different levels of automation, see how they affect overall spend, generate an executive-ready summary, and clone and edit previous scenarios to quickly model options and understand the impact on the bottom line.

New CC/UC/CX AI Services Matrix: Developed by Amanda Bean, Dave Watson, Hunter Edmisten, and John Paullin, the new UC/CC/CX AI Services Matrix helps TAs quickly identify the right certified providers to implement and manage leading UCaaS and CCaaS platforms. As demand for AI-powered communications continues to grow, this gives them a clearer path to align customers with the right vendors, accelerate deals, and confidently position AI services.

What are your peers saying about their experience working with AVANT Sales Engineers?

“Top notch and always very knowledgeable. Brings a ton of value to opportunities while uncovering others along the way. Customers always love the conversations.” – Steve Bernard, BroadReach

“The engineers we interact with help save our clients months of R&D work, and from making the wrong decision. They recommend providers who can solve their business challenges, not providers who try to fit the proverbial square peg in the round hole.” – Ryan Robertson, LAVA Technology Services

Engineering Spotlight

This month, we’re spotlighting David Bjerke, Sales Engineer with a focus on Cloud and Managed Services.

David has been in the industry since 2013 and specializes in Cloud, IaaS, DaaS, and Backup & DR. He’s held previous positions at AVANT in operations, commissions, and IT.

Here’s a bit more about David, in his own words!

Tell us about something you do for AVANT that Trusted Advisors may not know.

I was heavily involved in the original version of Pathfinder, which was originally the BattleApp, which was originally the BattleBook (yes, like a physical book). Part of my duties included driving Jen Gallego’s brand-new car through downtown Chicago to pick up the books from the printer. That also just happened to be my first time driving in the city after moving from Madison, so I wasn’t nervous at all…

Where are you located?

Carmel, IN

If you could be any movie or TV character, who would you be?

Seth Cohen from The O.C. –  I feel like this needs no explanation, right?

What’s an unusual food combination you secretly enjoy?

I always put some sort of jam/jelly on my grilled cheese sandwiches. I can thank my mom for that quirk.
