Meet John Lopez, our Inside Channel Manager responsible for supporting many of AVANT’s top Trusted Advisors! John comes to AVANT with over 16 years of sales and channel management experience. It was a natural fit culturally and professionally. He hit the ground running, giving proactive technical and consultative pre-sales support which includes deal registration on requests, quarterbacking opportunities, and quotes, funnel management, and general day to day business requests from partners.
Giving partners access to John as a dedicated resource has already bred success with some of our top partners. John is available to partners from the beginning when we’re working on solution design until the contract is signed and orders are submitted. By acting as a liaison between the agents and the various carriers and internal resources, he ensures that we have the right individuals engaged. This has led to an uptick in quotes and orders while reducing time to quote and briefcase time on new orders.
With his expertise, especially in UCaaS, DRaaS, and Telecom Expense Management, he is able to engage with customers and partners in a meaningful way, enabling the engineering team to have the full picture and requirements on opportunities so they have the full picture in mind when they make a recommendation on a solution for the customer.
Our partners will have a dedicated resource they can always reach out to no matter the request. They will have one call/email to make without having to jump from person to person trying to get the help they need. John’s 18 years of experience, he has the ability to assist on all opportunities from cradle to grave.
In his personal life, John is a CO native and has been married for 15 years. He and his wife have a 10-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter that both love sports so they are busy with lacrosse, football, basketball, track, and the occasional play. When they do have free time, they love exploring their home state of Colorado doing as much camping, fishing, and hiking as they can.
