AVANT is excited to share the news that Allison Hammond, Director of Operations, is being recognized by CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, as one of the IT channel’s 100 People You Don’t Know But Should for 2022. Published annually, the list honors those who work tirelessly to support channel partners, while rarely stepping into the spotlight. CRN’s editorial team assembles the list based on feedback from solution providers and industry executives to identify behind-the-scenes channel players who help partners drive growth, innovation, and profit.
Allison’s authenticity, strategic thinking, creativity, responsibility, and strong communication are just a few of the reasons she is being recognized this year by CRN for helping AVANT and its Trusted Advisors grow their businesses.
“It is a tremendous honor to be included on the CRN 100 People You Don’t Know, But Should list,” said Hammond. “I’m always looking for ways to exceed the expectations of our Trusted Advisors and it’s incredibly humbling to be a part a group of individuals who have all made such impressive contributions that are driving positive business outcomes across the channel.”
In describing Allison’s contributions, Shane McNamara, EVP of Engineering and Operations, who nominated her for the award, writes:
“Allison always looks for ways to create efficiency while driving value. When she joined AVANT six years ago, she was vocal about wanting to be part of a growing company where she could see and make changes that have a direct impact on the business. Since that time, she has taken on sales and operations roles that enable her to better understand both sides of the business and identify gaps and room for improvement. Over the course of two years, she also completely restructured and doubled the size of the Partner Support Team with the end goal of enhancing the Partner Experience. The changes she and her team have made ultimately cut SLAs in half and closed FY22 with an average Net Promoter Score of 95.”
Diversity is also an area that Allison had contributed to at AVANT, and McNamara adds, “Allison’s team is very diverse in terms of gender, age, and ethnicity. One example of how she has fostered a culture of diversity and inclusion is a book club that she hosted early in the pandemic, during a time that people felt especially isolated. It proved to be a way for people to connect and opened dialogue around race and inequality.”
