The Human Resources Business Partner is a full-time position responsible for day-to-day tactical support of the Human Resources department. An important part of this role is to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. The HR Generalist will be an active participant in our positive corporate culture, understand what people need, and know how to provide it. Reporting To : Head of People Operations

Essential Functions

  • Assist in administering benefits, compensation, leave, staff changes and employee performance programs
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR processes with the business areas
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department, organization as a whole, and the employee experience
  • Facilitate and manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Participate and promote events to contribute to and maintain our culture
  • Track and ensure proper documentation of annual training programs. Such as antiharassment and cyber security
  • Administers payroll changes, colleague benefits and FMLA Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and best practices, in human resources, talent management and employment law
  • Participate in delivery of HR communications plan
  • Bi-Monthly payroll processing and review
  • Maintain headcount and attrition report

  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Strong understanding of employment/labor laws
  • Proven experience working in an HR department
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems a plus
  • Desire to work as a team

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field
  • 2 – 5 years of human resource management experience
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, and constantly changing environments
  • Previous benefits experience preferred
