CHICAGO, November 4, 2024 – AVANT, a platform for IT decision-making and the nation’s premier Technology Services Distributor (TSD), today introduced the next generation of Pathfinder, its industry-leading technology sales platform. The channel’s only customer-facing, business-building platform is emerging from beta after having undergone extensive testing and optimization based on feedback from Trusted Advisors and vendor partners.

Built to enable business growth in a rapidly changing industry
The next-generation Pathfinder platform is built on a faster, future-proofed framework designed to help Trusted Advisors keep up with the rapid pace of change in technology, and drive year-over-year revenue growth by empowering more confident decision-making. Some of the new features and enhancements available now in the Pathfinder platform include:
- Provider Portfolio. Featuring a brand-new look, Trusted Advisors benefit from a faster, more intuitive, and more powerful research experience so they can find what they are looking for with minimal clicks. An enhanced sales collateral feature connects Trusted Advisors to content focused on key product features and differentiators, ideal customer profiles, elevator pitches, and case studies created by vendors and curated by AVANT.
- Vendor Analytics. An industry first, providing peer-to-peer vendor guidance and generating exclusive customer-ready insights, including Net Promoter Scores (NPS) powered by Trusted Advisor-verified sales data.
- Power Briefs. Trusted Advisors can now generate customizable, branded marketing materials in real time using content from the Provider Portfolio. Power Briefs incorporate the Trusted Advisor’s logo, brand assets, and targeted messaging for individual customers, making Pathfinder the industry’s only go-to-market enablement platform for sellers.
- Expert recommendations. Select Provider pages within the Provider Portfolio will feature analysis from AVANT’s Sales Engineers (SEs) to help Trusted Advisors easily identify when a particular supplier would be the “best fit” for an end customer solution.
A more connected experience for all stakeholders
The updated AVANT platform introduces Pathfinder Engage, an exclusive tool for vendors designed to enhance collaboration with Trusted Advisors and their customers. It offers additional reporting and analytics, with varying access tiers. Vendors can create and share custom content about their solutions, helping them showcase their unique value propositions and stand out from competitors.
