At the end of April 2024, AVANT gathered for our second annual all-company event, Better Together! Throughout the day, we looked back at the strides we’ve made, even since our last gathering in April 2023. From the early days of a small, tight-knit team to our present status as a global organization with a powerful shared vision, our togetherness has continued to be the cornerstone of our success. Recognizing and celebrating this collaboration as a full team, in person, left our company feeling proud and energized for what’s to come!
In addition to a packed agenda of personal and professional goal setting, inspirational conversations, and deep dives into future plans for the company, we were also so excited to honor the recipients of this year’s Better Together Awards! AVANT Core Value Awards
At AVANT, our values are the basis of our organization’s identity and a reflection of our spirit. They focus on passion, intellect, competitiveness, commitment, and vision. This year’s Core Value Award recipients epitomize these qualities in every aspect of their work. It’s with immense pride and gratitude that we congratulate these winners. They are Ellie Bennett, Christi Clark, Pete Mandich, and Chevon Martin for their exceptional contributions!
AVANT Newcomer of the Year
We strive every day to level up our company and the support we provide. That means continuing to find and bring on skilled individuals who can bring fresh perspective, experience, and talent to AVANT, and we love being able to recognize one of these people via our Newcomer of the Year Award! This year, we honored Tobey Harbour as a top Newcomer for our organization. Tobey is a Commissions Processing Manager who has been instrumental in helping us revamp and revolutionize our Commissions processes for partners. Her focus on efficiency, productivity, and high-quality work is so impactful, and the effects can be seen through her own output, her team’s amazing work, and how our partners interact with the team.
AVANT Employee of the Year
The cheers and roar of applause that went through the room when Tony Ikpi was named AVANT’s Employee of the Year are evidence alone of how deserved this recognition is. As AVANT’s IT Manager, Tony is typically the first person new AVANT Team Members interact with as they’re onboarded. He sets the stage for their journey at AVANT. Tony welcomes them aboard and ensures they feel confident, prepared, and armed with the tools they need to successfully fill their roles. But his work doesn’t stop there! Tony helps keep our entire organization secure and consistently looks for ways to upgrade or enhance the technologies in our IT stack. Which, for a technology company, isn’t an easy order! Plus, Tony is present at our biggest events. He supports in the background to help make sure our presence is technically seamless. A massive congratulations and THANK YOU to Tony for all he does for AVANT and each of our team members!
